| Getting Here! Klosters is one of the easier alpine resorts to reach and is accessible by both rail and car. Those who fly to Switzerland tend to take the train from the airport (either at Zurich or at Basel) and travel to Klosters station via Landquart, a small town at the bottom of the Prättigau valley. Passengers change trains at Landquart on to the smaller Klosters train which leaves from platform 5. The Swiss Railways website provides a timetable and the option to download tickets. Arriving by car is also straightforward. Turn off the A13 just north of Chur at Landquart and follow the signs for Klosters or Davos and travel up the valley on the N28. As you approach Serneus (just before Klosters) ensure you follow the Klosters sign branching right, thereby avoiding the large bridge taking you to Davos. Please also see the map below. |
